The Gite is located only one kilometre from the village of Langoelan which is easily reached by foot or car along a quiet local road. In the village you can find a pizzeria and a bar/restaurant. Just five kilometres from the gite is the beautiful Medieval village of Guemene Sur Scorff where you can find restaurants, an excellent creperie, pharmacies,large supermarket, boulangerie and delicious patisseries! So if you don't feel like self catering at home the alternatives are very close at hand.

About a 20 minute drive from our Gite you will find the lovely town of Pontivy. With its mixture of Napoleonic and Medieval architecture and the beautiful Blavet river. You'll find it's not only a lovely place to visit but it's full of wonderful restaurants,creperies and shops selling all sorts.In the summer there is also a modern outdoor pool alongside the Blavet river.

Situated right at the heart of rural Brittany,Tremer Cottage provides a wonderful base to explore this enchanting area of France at any time of year. Driving is a pleasure on wonderful quiet roads which wind through beautiful tree lined valleys and picturesque villages. This is a fantastic area for cycling, rambling and bird watching It is an artists paradise with wonderful light and a picture at every turning.
